Book recommendation
Just finished reading Edward Brett's "The British Auxiliary Legion in the First Carlist War 1835-1838", and thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in the period, or generally in British military history. Very absorbing, well written and informative, there are copies on Abebooks for decent prices, I picked mine up at Colours for £12 odd. (Last time I looked on Caliver it was something in the region of £40...)
Anyway, great book, well worth the read.
Now onto Engelund's "The Battle of Poltava".
PS books have it for £9:

It is a very good book - it acts as a general intro to the First Carlist War as well as being a regimental.legion history.
