Great stuff.
Following up on "Flashman and the Great Game", another superb fictionalised account is "The Siege of Krishnapur" by J.G. Farrel.
Two of my favourite passages are those concerning Fleury's Patented Cavalry Eradicator, and the discussion concerning which electro-plated busts were used to best effects as artillery projectiles. :D
Buy it, read it if you haven't yet, you'll love it. :)
Just seen some masters from Brian Sweeny's new range of IM figures. Very nice indeed, you're going to give up the unequal struggle when you see these babies.
Would these be the ones ?

Now I should be immune, I have a lot of IM painted up and half a ton more unpainted.
But those are nice - have a good chunky feel to them.
Theo you are doomed, wait till you're playing with my Indian Mutiny collection next June. You'll be hooked on the period I bet, I know I am.
I got a note from Mutineer in response to my Q as to how these will compare with the old Foundry range. He said that they are Artizan/Gripping Beast in size which I assume makes them a fair bit bigger than the old Perrys. Will be hard to mix in then - maybe just a few cmd figs :)
