Perry 28mm Napoleonic French Dragoons in plasticI was kind of expecting a press release from the Perrys today since it been a bit quiet from them recently. I was perhaps thinking it might be a War of the Roses subject but its Naps and a very useful box esp. if you're into the Peninsular even if it is a late style uniform:

I'll let Giles do all the dancing figures.
Dismounted Dragoons for Sharp Practice! I'm in luuuv! :blow:
Mounted and dismounted again. Why can't they get the same concept with guns? One plastic box could have all the stuff to show it both deployed and limbered, and they'd sell like mad!
They are being a little slow with their metal releases, although I think they had greens of new French 1815 artillery on TMP a couple of weeks back and Michael lets the Carlist War yahoo group know what he's up to (British rockets and lancers).
Those are a must - and yep, good idea to include mounted and dismounted. Is it too much to hope (being a bit perfectionist)c for horse holders and suitable horses?
These figures are perfect for skirmish games. Now I can recreate the scene in Sharpe's Rifles where the dragoon regiment corners the Rifles in square, and dismounts a couple of squadrons to shoot into the juicy square target.
I only wish that the Perrys had done the earlier uniform.
LT I would have thought that the dragoon with his carbine at the trail could make a good horseholder with a modicum of work.
Plastic light cavalry. Now we're talking!
