"Geschichte der Todesstrafe 17 to 19 Jahrhundert" History of the death penalty (in Germany) from 17 to 19 century. I am also trying to get my hands on a copy of "Folterei, Methode und Praxis, in Mittelältlichles, bis 19 Jahrhundertes Deutschland" "The method and Practice of torture in middleages to 19th century Germany".

...is the Mawdsley book any good? Could be one for the pile to read at a later date Not bad, but not enough on the specific details of the military actions for my liking (I've not finished it yeet, it may get down to details later). Good as an overview of the political situation and the ebb and flow of the military situation.
