Got a week inside writing reports, so might be able to fit some painting around that. Am doing Dwarves and old 28mm Minfiig Napoleonic Russians for rBay and perhaps a few BEF types for myself.

Only got like a stand left to finish the 8th Georg, however moving once again disrupting play :(

Timmo- 06-29-2009

Purple Are these AB ACWs? How have you found them? I keep being tempted although I'm loathe to start anything new just yet.

Purple- 06-29-2009

The 8th are Scale Creep miniatures that are very nice from fighting15's - I've got lots of other AB's and they are also nice, I just can't do them justice to be honest. :(

Just finishing off my 15mm Napoleonic Prussian Corps (Kleist II Corps August 1813) for LFS. Ten weeks of painting, 479 figures completed, just 20 to go. Just block painted, ink washed and then a few highlights. Not masterpieces, but look great on the table. I'm knackered, but I was amazed at how much I enjoyed painting Prussians. They certainly do have a dour charm to them.

FW, Have you got any pics anywhere? Always interesting to see how different techniques look. Cheers Andy

Fat Wally- 06-29-2009

No piccies yet of the Prussians but you can view some of my Austrians, Poles, Saxons, Brits, and French at www.fat-wally.com under the LFS page. As I said hardly works of art but look good on the table which is what matters to me.

Just refurbishing some 15mm French 7yw figures.

VB commented: "Have finished 70 Nap British Abs this week and just about 12 KGL Dragoons. Then next week its 24 French Cuirassiers, another Marshall Ney and a caisson and team (horses are already done)" I dont know how you do it. You say that there are better painters around, but I reckon your stuff is better than what you see on 90% of tables. Methinks the local GP has access to some sort of speed painting pill and wont share it :) JB

Big Dave- 07-06-2009

I'm currently paiinting some trucks and humvess for my Somalia US forces and some 6mm F4 Phantoms for the same. Then its back to 10mm ancients. My local GW store has started a 2nd games night on a monday, so I took advatnage and popped down to get a white paint, the bloke gave me £65 to much change! Good times!

Phil- 07-06-2009

This week I shall mostly be painting 6mm Moderns, ACW and some Napoleonics

Stavka- 07-06-2009

I've been in a "dabbling around" mood, working on different projects. Thirty minutes or so a day here and there on French War of the Austrian Succession, some Napoleonics, and a few Austro-Hungarian Stosstruppen

levied troop- 07-07-2009

Musketeer's WW1 Russians for a future RCW game, plus some ECW and possibly BEF 1940 if I get round to them. All 28mm. Plus the odd saxon, WoR, Zulu war redcoat and anything else lying around near the painting table.

Giles- 07-07-2009

This week I have the last figure for Northampton's Regiment (ECW), the first figure for Prince Wupert's Bluecoats (also ECW) and 4 First Carlist War infantry. Over the weekend I hope to paint 3 more Bluecoats and more Carlist stuff. So much the same as previous weeks....
