Almost done a couple of dark age standard bearers, one Pict and one Romano-British. I also need to get a couple more battalions painted for the club demo game at Valhalla-Dutch Guards and Grand Prior's Regiment, if I can find time!!
:(

Well I was going to paint tonight but I've had too much port again. Ah well.

Finished 25 US paras from base lead and the re-painted another 33 up to the new standard (see gallery) along with a 57mm AT gun and a jeep tow.
I`m now finishing off resurecting some armour (3 - Sherman, an M10 tank destroyer and an M3 half-track), repairs, adding stowage and crew and then re-painting and decals.

Priming, priming, perfect weather for it so I am working may way through some more Perry's. They dry almost as soon as the spray hits 'em. Quick tea break then yet more.

Finished the log cabin, did a lot of other bits of Coffeyville, see Articles section.
Perhaps more tomorrow.

I've finally finished off my "weekdays" quota, of 4 riflemen and the first base of Isabelino marines, both for the First Carlist War. Tomorrow I should be able to finish the last 4 figures for the second battalion of the Isabelino Princessa Regiment and the last figures for my ECW whitecoat regiment (which seems to have taken forever to complete).
My painting room is east facing, so the light is perfect from about 6am to 11am; then it goes a bit funny and by 4pm it's actually too dark to paint without artificial light.

I mostly paint at night! Just odds and sods at the moment, basing some Humvess and a maxim mg team.

I have not picked up a brush for a couple of weeks.
However, I am working on redesigning my Spanish regular infantry circa 1770. I have completed 7 basic marching infantrymen but I am awaiting details on canteens/waterbottles did they carry Kegs, Bota or the leather thong and sling?... most likely a mixture of all.
This week it will be grenadiers/officer/ensign and drummer. I will use the original dolly for each and make minor improvements. If time permits I will do another cataluna infantryman and a marine.
Have a good week.

Painted the Perry riflemen from the front of WI on Saturday as a break from my normal painting. The figures are great and i'm reasonably happy with the result but I had forgotten how long it take me to paint a 28mm figure - i really have no idea how people do this for a living! I will not be taking the 180 figures in a month challenge any time soon !

Bits & pieces coming along. I've almost finished a terrain piece for the ECW & have started cleaning up some buildings & Sampans for Vietnam. Progress is a bit sporadic at the moment due to other committments.

I hope I'll be able to paint this week - am having a shoulder repair this afternoon and will be in a sling for 4-6 weeks
Will have a month off work - if I can't paint I'll go bonkers as there are only so many books you can read :beg:

Since my new 1938 stuff has not arrived yet :grr: I am painting my 10mm romans, partly to exercise the horror of the ancients game I took part in at the weekend.

I am painting my Perrys hard plastic ACW cavalry. And putting together Field of Glory's hard plastic Caesar's legion, which are not nearly as well sculpted as the Perry's plastics
