Shanghai Incidenthttp://s113.photobucket.com/albums/n217/gallopingjack/Shanghai%20incident/
Last Sunday I presented a game based on a 15mm representation of THE SHANGHAI INCIDENT 1932.
Annoyed at the Army getting lots of publicity for its taking over of Manchuria, Japanese Admirals looked for an excuse to get some publicity of their own. After a Chinese mob attacked three Shinto Monks they thought the excuse was there to use.
Unfortunately for them the Chinese proved a lot tougher than expected and the inexperienced naval infantry were forced to withdraw.
That looks fun – original idea for a game as well.
"The Shanghai incident"
Was this anything to do with Peewee's usual Friday night out, a bag of spring rolls purchased from the Mee Hung Lo takeaway, an undercover policewoman and an old wheelbarrow with a flat tyre? :hmm:
