This week at Eureka...
After getting back from our US holiday on Friday, I dropped into Eureka on Saturday morning to see the new Revolutionary wars French Chasseurs. At this stage there are four troopers at rest wearing caracot (the dolman type jacket), four charging wearing caracot, four at rest wearing a habit and four charging wearing the habit. All these have tarletons. An officer and a trumpeter coming soon as are troopers wearing the mirilton. There are four horses trotting and four charging, all done. John

Cavalry is always an indicator that a range is receiving serious investment in time/effort/finance, so very good news.

Eureka seems to be going "all in" on their French Revolution range.

I think it's rapidly becoming the "flagship" range that I understand it's intended to be. It's certainly on my list of "one day I'll do it" ranges. However, in the spirit of TMP, I'm going to ask nothing about these sculpts but instead moan about the lack of new AWI figures. I think we have militia cavalry, part-dressed Hessians, Brunswickers, South Carolina infantry, Philadelphia Associators (   ), sappers, the Legions, Spanish, American light infantry, Washington's Guard, plus loads more in the lists... :beg:
