Everything I build for my train is weather proof. The engine/drive wheel assembly is factory standard, and meant for all weather condition with possible exception of flood.

How far above sea level are you Gungnir (let's say the top of your house to be fair)??

Reports differ, Mik. I believe the downstairs floor would be about 60cm under sea level, which mean that at high tide we'ld better move to the attic.

We're pretty far from the sea, our main concern would be a canal dyke bursting - the water level in most major canals is above ground level.
At our last house, we were saved by the dyke count, who is the head of the watership and ultimate authority in case of flood threats, he called in the army engineers, who built an emergency dam in front of our house and flooded a sparsely populated polder nearby to save the town. The inhabitants of that polder were ess than happy about that choice.

Can't model with one hand holding my still hurting jaw, Duck.

I'm not too happy about it myself.

Half pulled, the other half in three weeks.

I'm growing quite fond of Ibuprofen.

Unless you're talking prescription strength, aspirin actually worked better for me.

I'm talking prescription strength. A cartload of paracetamol didn't do the trick anymore.

Nope, nothing beats tooth pain. Every other kind dulls with time, tooth pain keeps flaring up every time you take a bite wrong. Burns are the only thing giving it a run for the money.
