I was talking to a gaming friend about houses (see topics below) and he raised the pertinant point, "What are you going to do about destroyed buildings?"
As he is quite a dab hand at using howitzers to burn down my strongpoints I guess I should consider this.
Comments?

Ruins can be fairly straight forward - a few walls & some rubble will give you at least an indication of the former building. They can be reasonably ornate - my reply on the other thread showed the Airfix Strongpoint as an example. Ideally I'd use ruined versions of all my buildings but it's not likely to happen yet - in the meantime a few generic ruins will have to do.
Some commerical terrain companies (Miniature Building Authority for one) have buildings that 'break down' to leave a ruined version behind. IIRC Paper Terrain also provides a ruined version as part of their product. There are plenty of other ruins commerically available. _________________ "If technology annoys you, I highly recommend shooting it to death. It's very cleansing......" |
