How does it compare (price inc. P&P/modelled detail) with the Skytrex one??

It does look quite nice. I still have an old Sktrex balloon knocking about somewhere wonder how it will compare?

I never actually built the Skytrex one as I used it for a pattern to scratch build polystyrene ones ( nice and light )

Hope we get some UK stockists.

£22.50 for the Skytrex one (inc. P&P)

$29.00 for the AIM one (inc. P&P)

Too close to call...

Is the Skytrex one a hollow metal construction? Must weigh a bit if so.

AIM don't have UK distribution (and it doesn't seem as if they are going to change that either) but as Peewee writes its $18 for the kit and $11 airmail to send one or two models. They have the later Allied type coming out in a bit so it might be worth waiting for both to be available, or to see what the Wings of War pre-painted one looks like and how much it costs then decide which option to go for. However, this kit does look very nice so the WoW will have to be great. However I expect it will feel expensive given the weak £ and the current price of the planes which has risen from a very respectable £6 to about £9/10+.

I'd like to add 16 more round off and complete my early very specific June 1918 collection but they simply feel to expensive for me to consider adding any at all atm.
